Pastor hanfere aligaz

Pastor Hanfere is the senior pastor and founder of International Ethiopian Evangelical Church, established in Washington D.C. in 1988. A pilot by training, Pastor Hanfere was called to the ministry in 1981, and shortly afterwards, he moved to the U.S. with his family.

In addition to the main church located in Washington D.C., Pastor Hanfere is responsible for eight branch churches in Virginia, Maryland, Florida, and New York. Under his leadership branch churches were also established in Beirut, Lebanon, and Cairo, Egypt. Preparation is also underway to establish a church in South Sudan. Pastor Hanfere currently oversees a total of 21 churches both in and outside of the U.S., and planning is in progress to open 5000 more churches (mainly in Ethiopia) in the near future.

Pastor Hanfere also serves in Global Healing Ministries where he teaches and prays for the sick. Pastor Hanfere is married to Pastor Yetnenayet Haile with whom he has four children, and four grandchildren.
